Nice place to have lunch/snacks by the famous Praça 14 de Julho. The prices were fair, they didn't gave Red Ale mugs (only the long neck bottles) but it was nice anyway. I'd like to praise one of the employees (looked like the manager of the place) who was one of the few restaurant employees around that region that had the guts to scold and repel annoying beggars who harassed customers who were eating outside every single minute.

Lovely place, food and atmosphere. The owner was really warm and welcoming. He would also stop at every table to have a little chat which I found very sweet. Food was delicious. Loads of variety and generous portions for such a good price! Don't miss they house wine!

The restaurant has local product and the ham was very good.my orange juice As a fresh one and they have lot of craft beers. The place is touristic so better to get your place early. The service was very nice and spoke English perfectly.

Fantastic food, frendly staff, the best thing that happened to us in Portugal so far. The orange juice was great as the mix tapas, and the bread was sublime.

This is a pleasant place to sit outside and have lunch if the area is not crowded with tourists when you go. I have nothing against tourists. It's simply a tight spot and gets crowded easily. I've eaten lunch here twice. Will almost certainly do it again. I like the fact they serve Portuguese craft beers -- pricey, but worth it. Lunch both times was tasty and a reasonable value for the money. You can certainly spend a lot more and get less at some other tapas restaurants in the historic district. Friendly owner.

We had the bean stew and the cod with cream. My Taiwanese wife really enjoyed her stew, ”Almost like Taiwanese food” :) . Also no sign of the angry waiter other people has been complaining about. We were attended to by a very polite young man who spoke excellent English.

Does not even deserve a star, the worst place I ever been in the world. The owner is xenophobic and wanted me to speak Portuguese even though he was speaking in English to other customers with fairer skin tone. He was very rude and treated me in a very disrespectful way. Not in a millions years I would wish anyone to have an experience like that. I feel sad and sorry for the poor man, It is a shame he is even allowed to have a restaurant on a tourist spot.
